Hey there to anyone who is still following my
blog.. It has been a long time seems to be the understatement of the
year!
The reason for my absence is a pretty legit one
.. I'm PREGNANT!
Oh yes it is true! Baby Brown is on Board and is
going to make her arrival on August 2nd, 2014!
It has been a really looong journey with lots of
hormones and morning sickness. TJ and I are beyond excited and feel like we are
as prepared as we can get. Being a part of the military lifestyle that is the
Air Force we knew there was never going to be a perfect time to have a baby and
she was most defiantly the most exciting and exhausting surprise to happen to
us!
So far here is the what’s going on...
How far along: 28
weeks this Saturday.. HELLO THIRD TRIMESTER!!!
Gender: Girl
Weight gain: Under
20 lbs so far. I hope not to gain more than 30.
Maternity clothes: I have
tried to stay far from this as long as possible, but I have caved and I got Gap
Maternity leggings and some shirts from target mostly long tank tops and a few
dresses here and there. Thank the heavens she is a summer baby!
Stretch marks: None
so far I have been using Mustela since I was about 16 weeks (before I started
to show).
Belly button in or out: It
is never completely in or out it is flat most of the time and pokes out if I
eat too much.
Sleep: Sleep
is going okay hard to get comfortable and stay comfortable having to sleep on
my side but pillows help a little bit.
Best moment this
week: Little girl was having a kicking fest and TJ go to feel her and
he teared up... MELT MY HEART!
Miss anything: Getting
comfortable & being able to breathe.
Movement: Oh yes!
and tons around lunch time.
Cravings: Any
kind of potato and peaches which aren't in season yet so all other types of
fruit help out :)
Queasy or sick: Being
feeling okay lately after 22 weeks of constant morning sickness.
Looking forward to: Her
making her arrival. I also got the shipping confirmation for our baby shower
that will be in Texas! It will be nice to take time and just be home with
family and friends. Hopefully we can squeeze in a "Baby Moon" to the
river or beach while we are there!
