It's been a while but I have a lot of fun and exciting news to share!

Well, Hello there sorry I’ve been gone for like MONTHS! It has been CRAZY! This new life like any has had many ups, downs and a lot of adjusting. Adjusting to a new job, new area, new people and yet another new job (oh the life of a Temp!). There has been so much to write about and no time to do it so I will try to be better. J

First off let’s talk about our apartment its cozy and just enough room for the two of us. The pod I shipped everything in showed up the Friday after my arrival in New Jersey and we got it   and the pod picked up all in the same day! We are pros.. if I do say so myself. The house was “pretty much” set up the next day. I packed up items (mostly from the kitchen and bedroom) that wouldn’t be used for a good while, because there was simply not enough space. We got a new bed set and little things with wedding gift cards that we received to target. And began to assemble and organize! I think we did rather well.

The only down fall is the fact that all of our bedroom furniture for the both of us is in two different states. So bedroom organization isn’t looking up for either of us .. well mostly me. :-/

If moving across country wasn’t enough we got a puppy a twelve pound chocolate lab Eve, which at first reminded me so much of my Sawyer girl (my dog I left with my parents in Texas) then I realized Sawyer is actually human and this puppy is a PUPPY! This day we got her we drove two hours to “look” and when the breeder opened the door do this pin with four little Chocolate labs .. TJ’s heart melted and that was it for him and little did I know for me too. He was leaving the next day for a trip which lasted 3 times as long as it was supposed to so for almost 3 weeks of just me and a puppy, I was ready to snap. I’m so thankful we decided to keep her because even though she destroyed my Mophie phone case for my iPhone. I love her. Eve is what I come home to and what makes TJ smile and happy and that make me happy.

I will say that I don’t think getting a dog right after getting married is the best idea and especially not if you’re married to the military but I could be wrong. Although above all other things we military wives we learn to adjust!
