Remember when I said we were moving?! Funny, I do too.
Well here is the post move post.. Moving was all fun and games..
Until it wasn't anymore..
But we are slowly getting the house together and I have been taking progress photos and this is what has happened since we moved in…
Lots of curtains have been hung because painting base housing ends up being way to much of a hassle since you have to paint it back and personally I don’t want to do that so here are my little ways I maneuvered around that issue..
(I'll add where the items came from in another post.)
The linoleum flooring is terrible so the rug helps distract the eye from that fact, it protects the furniture legs and ties in the curtains to give the room a warmer feel. (Longer curtains coming soon)
The living room was another story with four different windows a lot of rods had to be purchased and hung. Some important things to think about when getting curtains it to try to keep them simple and have them compliment everything in the room down to the frames of the pictures that are to be hung.
Try to keep the decorations that are hung on the wall simple too.. now I’m the worst about this I just want it up and out of the way, but I moved all the art up to a spare bedroom. That way I wasn’t tempted and took a pinterest approach to hanging art.
I did the monogrammed wall and kept it very simple with a few letters on in which I painted a hunter green color.

While I was home I bought a huge cross that I had to have shipped and cost more than the Item itself but that’s okay.
I moved the leaning shelf against the back wall and purchased a second shelf this weekend and will be putting it up this afternoon (I hope).
Next I will be working on the HUGE white wall in the kitchen and I already have so many ideas on that so keep an eye out on my pinterest board Build Out Ideas.
